CGI + AI Engineered Precision, Delivered
Character Design & Look Development
This was a project where we wanted to implement a hybrid CGI and AI pipeline—using CGI to build the base animation block, and then leveraging AI for the skinning and rendering pass. We carefully guided the integration of every single asset, step by step.
We started by defining our hero character. After creating a series of character design proposals featuring various typologies and personalities, the whole team agreed on our protagonist: a boogie bunny with a big heartbeat. :) Once the character was established, we defined its key features, personality, and acting style—even going so far as selecting the camera lenses and framing that would best suit the final output.
3D Rigging & Rhythm-Driven Motion
Next, we built the geometry in CGI, setting up the standard T-pose essential for a clean and precise rig. In this phase, we refined the CGI model to closely match our approved character design. Following several rounds of testing, we moved into animation, aiming for an energetic performance synced to the boogie music track.
World-Building & Art Direction
In parallel, the Circo team developed the visual mood for the animation—shaping the environment, the overall look and feel, and the art direction. We benchmarked keyframes to see how the character interacted within the story and environment.
End-to-End In-House Capabilities
One of our main strengths is having full end-to-end capabilities in-house, so we jumped right in and designed the custom typography and graphic branding for the event title.
